A woman being held on a charge of violation of probation related to a 2008 DUI incident resulting in injury appeared briefly to receive new court dates Wednesday afternoon.

Deputy district attorney Mike Pizzuti noted that there was a suspended state sentence term by Judge Douglas Phimister for Brandi Thomas. As visiting Judge Robert Baysinger was currently sitting in, it would be put over.
Pizzuti also noted that a letter from one of the women that Thomas had run over, who claimed that Thomas had not paid any restitution yet.
Though he said the DA’s office was “anxious to proceed,” he and defense attorney Adam Weiner agreed to a July 29 hearing at 1 p.m. in Department 7 for further proceedings and an August 9 hearing at 1 p.m. for a “formal hearing.”
