Three run for two spots on Cameron Park Community Services District board

By From page A1 | October 10, 2012

Voters in the Cameron Park Community Services District will have three candidates to choose from in November when they vote to fill two positions on the board of directors. Currently those positions are occupied by Sean Tucker and Alan Clarke.

Tucker was appointed to the board in June 2011 after a previous board member resigned. He is running for a full four-year term. Clarke decided not to run after serving on the board for 10 years.

Vicky Neibauer and Joe Thuesen are newcomers and are running for the first time.

All three candidates are well qualified and would bring a different personality and skill set to the board: Tucker, the genial title company manager; Thuesen, the ebullient fire and emergency services supervisor; and Neibauer, the collaborator and senior budget analyst.
