A two-car accident in El Dorado Hills caused moderate injuries on May 20.

A white Ford Explorer was traveling eastbound on Highway 50 east of El Dorado Hills Boulevard at 2:55 p.m. when a tire blew out and the driver lost control of the vehicle, CHP Officer Quinn Cuthbertson said.

The Explorer struck a gray Hyundai Santa Fe. The driver of the Santa Fe lost control and hit a three-foot tall concrete jersey wall and overturned. The driver of the Santa Fe sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
