The Union Mine Marching Band participated in four Field Shows and Parade competitions this season that ended on Saturday Nov. 17.
1- Del Oro Band Review; Parade – 2nd place; Field Show – 2nd place, Field Drum Major; Andy Sprenkel – 1st place.
2- Foothill Band Review; Field Show Drum Major; Andy Sprenkel, 3rd place.
3- Lodi Grape Festival; Parade – 1st place; Field Show – 2nd place; Field Show Drum Major, Andy Sprenkel – 2nd place; Parade Drum Major, Johnny D’Agostini – 3rd place.
4- Lincoln Band Review; Parade – 1st place, Parade Color Guard 1st place, Parade Drum Major, Johnny D’Agostini – 3rd place; Field show- 2nd place, Drum Major Andy Sprenkel 1st place.
The Union Mine Marching Band will be performing at the Placerville Christmas Parade on Sunday Dec. 2, along with Oak Ridge, El Dorado, and Ponderosa marching bands.
