At the hearing, a readiness and settlement conference was scheduled for Dec. 21 at 8:30 a.m. in Department 2. Waters will stand trial beginning Jan. 8, 2013.
Waters, a bail bondsman from Sacramento, is accused of trading half of the money due for a bail bond to a woman in exchange for sexual acts.
