The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office announced the fourth of five “We Work for You” community meetings. This meeting will be held for District 4, on Oct. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Golden Sierra High School, located at 5101 Garden Valley Road in Garden Valley.
Sheriff John D’Agostini, District 4 Supervisor Ron Briggs and Sheriff’s Office administrators will be present to discuss crime trends in District 4, and the resources available from the Sheriff’s Office. Along with other Sheriff’s Office personnel, they will be available to answer any questions you may have that were not answered in their presentations.
The community meeting will include an overview of the three divisions within the Sheriff’s Office. These overviews will be presented by the Sheriff’s Operations Division commander, the Sheriff’s Office Custody Division commander and the Sheriff’s Support Services Division commander. The Sheriff’s crime analyst will present a PowerPoint presentation about crime trends in the district and the Sheriff’s CFO will present a budget overview. The presentations will conclude with a question and answer period in breakout stations.
Representatives of the Sheriff’s STARS (Senior Team of Active Retirees), Explorers and Reserve programs will also be in attendance to inform you on their programs and how you can join the Sheriff’s Office volunteers. Come and learn how the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office works for you.
