The El Dorado County Transportation Division Bridge Crew will be conducting an annual safety inspection, and performing any repairs if needed. Equipment on site will prohibit users on the bridge. The trail will remain open on both sides of the bridge.
“The Weber Creek Bridge is a very popular link on this segment of trail,” said Vickie Sanders, parks manager. “We know the work will disrupt some recreation routines, but it also keeps users safe.”
Sanders also noted that brush removal under the bridge is scheduled for later in the fall, but is not expected to result in any closures.
