Todd Winkler, the man accused of murdering his wife in their Cameron Airpark home in February, appeared in court for a few moments Monday morning.
El Dorado Superior Court Judge Douglas C. Phimister confirmed the dates of August 27 and 30 for hearings leading up to a trial. He also addressed a clerical error he found in a subpoenaed document from the Veteran’s Administration from May 21. Defense attorney David Weiner and prosecutors Lisette Suder and Jody Jensen agreed to a stipulation that fixed the error.
In custody since Feb. 27, Winkler is accused of murdering of his wife, Rachel, while they were fighting over their impending divorce. The fight allegedly ended when Rachel was stabbed in the throat with a pair of scissors, an act Winkler said was in self-defense after she allegedly pulled the scissors on him, injuring his hands and inner thighs.

Does he take a lie detector test. I noticed in the few photos, he seems to evade looking people steadily in the eye. Creeps me out. Scary thought what he might do, when he finds other people also who disagree with his behavior. in this life.
