Talia Ferris, 33, of El Dorado Hills, was driving her 1999 Ford Expedition southbound on El Dorado Hills Boulevard south of Olson Lane at about 3:13 a.m. when she “allowed her vehicle to drift off the right shoulder,” CHP Officer Quinn Cuthbertson said. She tried to correct by turning left, but instead lost control and rolled her vehicle.
Ferris was not wearing a seatbelt, Cuthbertson said, and was ejected from the vehicle. She sustained fatal injuries. El Dorado Hills Fire Department paramedics responded from just down the road, but pronounced the woman dead at 3:27 a.m.
