A woman died after being ejected from her car early Friday morning.

Talia Ferris, 33, of El Dorado Hills, was driving her 1999 Ford Expedition southbound on El Dorado Hills Boulevard south of Olson Lane at about 3:13 a.m. when she “allowed her vehicle to drift off the right shoulder,” CHP Officer Quinn Cuthbertson said. She tried to correct by turning left, but instead lost control and rolled her vehicle.

Ferris was not wearing a seatbelt, Cuthbertson said, and was ejected from the vehicle. She sustained fatal injuries. El Dorado Hills Fire Department paramedics responded from just down the road, but pronounced the woman dead at 3:27 a.m.

I decided to copy and past the more compassionate article from our local Placerville Newswire. Talia was my former co-worker and friend. She was an awesome Mom, wife and friend. She was an avid fan of the Giants and the 49er's. She was a shining star with an infectious laugh. Please visit the Talia Ferris Memorial page on FB and if you can, give to this fund to benefit her 3 boys. Thank you. Lucky for us, she blessed the world with three amazing sons who will make this a better place and her spirit lives on in them. Talia dedicated her life to the love and happiness of her family. She and her husband Hollis were a dynamic duo raising their three sons Devin, Taylor and Tarren; amazing young men that she was so very proud of. She put her heart and soul into enhancing their lives with enriching experiences, encouraging them and loving them in a most extraordinary way. It is in her spirit that we are coming together to ease the burden of her passing for her sons. This fund has been set up to ensure Devin, Taylor and Tarren's educational needs are met and to offset costs associated with her memorial. Talia's family would love to hear about how she touched your lives. Please feel free to share with them in the comments section. I am truly sorry for the family of this young lady, and her dear friends. My daughter was the 2nd car to stop at this accident on her way to work at 3:12 am on this Friday. My daughter calls every morning to let me know she arrives at work safe because she is on the round at such early hrs, she takes this route every day to Roseville. The call I recived at 3:13 broke my heart, for my daughter she waited for officers and EMTS. My daughter is praying for this family's comfort and healing. God Bless to Family and Friends.
