Albert Robert Silva Jr., 81, of Diamond Springs, Calif., was born Sept. 18, 1930, in Stockton, Calif., and passed away July 31, 2012, in Placerville, Calif. He was a plumbing contractor for 52 years. He was a retired president of California State Horsemen’s Association. He was a U.S. Navy vet, having served on a U.S. Boxer Aircraft Carrier. He was known as “Pappy Silva” to friends and in the construction trades.
Albert is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeannine Hellen Silva; son, Albert Robert Silva III; daughter, Cinthia Ann McCaffrey; granddaughter, Brandi Douglass; grandson, Albert Robert Silva IV; grandson, Mathew W. Silva; grandson, Kelly Campos; and grandson, Patrick McCaffrey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert R. Silva Sr. and Alise Silva; son, Michael James Silva; and son, Timothy John Silva.
