Aug. 9, 1921 – July 24, 2012
Our wonderful, loving mother and grandmother went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2012. Anneliese was born in Germany on Aug. 9, 1921. She moved to the USA in 1948 after meeting her husband Oskar R. Berg during World War II. They were married 61 years. Anneliese is survived by her two daughters, Heidi and Joanne. She was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Oskar R. Berg; brother, Franz; and sisters, Anni and Lydia.
Anneliese had enormous love for her family, friends and of the Lord. Her strength, love and caring heart was such a blessing to all who knew her. Mom and Grandma, we love and miss you so much. You are in our hearts forever!
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 4, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 8701 Elk Grove Florin Road in Elk Grove, Calif. A luncheon will follow.
