Jan. 28, 1970 — Aug. 24, 2012

Artie was born Jan. 28, 1970, and died Aug. 24, 2012. He was raised in Rescue, Calif., and lived in Fairplay, Calif., since 2001. Artie was loved by many and cherished by his family and friends. He loved a life always close to nature and never far from the ones he loved. He departed after suffering a heart attack at home. He was 42 years old. He was a bright light in any crowd and will be missed dearly! He is at peace now and is survived by his children, Taylor (15) and Brittany (14); his soulmate, Brenda Hamman; his parents, Art Foad and Maryann Baker; his siblings, Julie Foad, Joanne Cox and Jon Foad; and his nephews and loved ones.

A service will be held at Oak Hills Church at 1100 Blue Ravine Road and Oak Avenue Parkway in Folsom on Thursday, Aug. 30, at 3 p.m.

    Dad I love u so much and I think about you every day I hope you and god are up there cracking jokes with each other cause you need a good laugh after all that you have been through I love u so much you don't even know.....I don't even think god knows how much I love u I know your in a way better place and I'm always praying for you I love you dad I could really use an angel right about now so if you could come down for a bit and hang out with me that would be the best thing in the world I love u buddy rest in peace -your loving son Taylor
