Austin Michael Liggett, age 22, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday in Fair Oaks, California, February 12, 2013.
He was born to Pam and Jerry Liggett March 11, 1990, in Seattle, Washington. He lived in Covington, Washington until the age of 12 and then moved to Cameron Park, California.
Austin had a big personality. He enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found dirt bike riding, snowboarding, hiking or trail running in the Foothills on the American River Trail and South Lake Tahoe. He always made others smile with his jokes and quirky phrases. Austin loved his home and family and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his Parents, Pam and Jerry Liggett, Sisters – Erin Liggett of Cameron Park and Lauren Epstein of Orinda, Grandparents – Bud and Jean Larsen of Puyallup Washington and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., February 23, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3431 Hacienda Dr., Cameron Park, CA. Gravesite dedication will be held in private at Green Valley Mortuary, Green Valley and Bass Lake Roads, Cameron Park.
Remembrances may be made to the Sierra Club Motherlode Chapter.
