Barbara and her grandson, Kyle, had a beautifully special relationship from the time he was born. He wrote this shortly after she passed:
“Barbara Jean Walton,
You were an amazing woman and fantastic grandmother. You have always been there for me and everyone else. You were so good at making candy and just living life to the fullest. You were so close to God and made everyone feel His presence. I have looked up to you since I was born and believe that you are now in a better place. You now have no pain and are celebrating up in Heaven with your parents and everyone else. I will celebrate as well because I know you’re safe and are very happy in Heaven.
I love you, Ma.
Rest in peace

Our mom, loving wife, grandma and great-grandma had a childlike vulnerability that made her very special, unique and extra lovable. Her huge heart loved everyone unconditionally and everyone loved her back. She was as beautiful on the inside as the outside, and led us all by example with her deep faith in God. We love you, Ma.
