Beatrice, fondly known as “Bea,” Dutzel died peacefully at home in the town of El Dorado March 5, 2013, at age 92. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisc., and moved to California as a teenager. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Frederick Dutzel; and brothers Joseph and Michael Lagosh. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Salvatore G. and Veronica Gigante of Garden Valley; nieces and nephews, John and Tina Evans of Camino, Carla and Bob Held of Browns Valley, Kathy and Keith Jackson of Cameron Park, Mary Norwood of New York, Andrew Lagosh of Folsom and Eric Lagosh of El Sobrante; and 33 great-nieces and nephews. Bea worked at Wal-Mart for 22 years, loved gardening and was a beautician and seamstress throughout her life. She was loved and respected by all who knew her; she will be deeply missed.
Private services will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Dixon, where she will be joining her husband.
