Benjamin “Ben” Alan Tracey passed away on Feb. 23, 2014, in El Dorado County, Calif., at the age of 38. He is survived by his loving wife, Shannon; children, Ava, Autumn, Sierra, Zachary, Jayson and Dylan; father, Lawrence; brother, Brian; and many friends in the community.
Ben was a devoted husband and father. He was an accomplished chef and worked for many years at Sweetie Pie’s. He most recently helped to reopen the Sportsman’s Hall and was a chef there until the day of his passing.
A celebration of Ben’s life will be held on March 27, at 1 p.m., at Green Valley Community Church, 3500 Missouri Flat Road in Placerville, Calif.
