Betty Thomas passed away at Gold Country Health Center in Placerville on March 21, 2012. She was the wife of the late Glenn Thomas (2010); loving mother of Jack (Patricia) Thomas of Deer Harbor, Wash., and Joyce (Michael) Strickland of Mt. Shasta, Calif.; sister of Bert Goff of Bonanza, Ore.; devoted grandmother of three and great-grandmother of four.
Betty lived in Placerville for the last 51 years and worked as a hairdresser. She and Glenn were married 73 years and enjoyed traveling in their RV along with sewing, crafts and gardening. Betty was much loved and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
At Betty’s request, no services will be held and private inurnment has been held. In lieu of flowers contributions in her name may be made to Gold Country Health Center, 4301 Golden Center Drive, Placerville, CA 95667. Friends may sign an electronic guestbook and leave condolences at chapelofthepinesfunerals.com. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home in Placerville.
