Charles W. Howard is at rest in Placerville, Calif., Nov. 24, 2010, after a year-long battle with ALS.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia of Placerville. He was the loving father of Pamela (Bill) Inman, Kristan Harris, Christine Howard and Stephanie Florence; devoted grandfather of
Jessica, Billy and Taylor; and great-grandfather of Brody.
A native of South San Francisco, Charlie was 63 years old. He retired from the Crystal Springs Safeway #639 in San Mateo after 40 years of service, where he held a management position.
Private services and inurnment have been held. A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held in the near future. Contributions are preferred to the The ALS Association Greater Sacramento Chapter, 2717 Cottage Way, Suite 8, Sacramento, CA 95825 or through websac.alsa.org. Friends may sign a
