Christopher R. Oliver passed away after an eight year battle with congestive heart failure. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2004. He was an avid tennis player and enjoyed hiking. He had a valiant love for the outdoors and California fulfilled that love.

Chris is survived by his wife, Dawn; and step-children, Anthony (KrisAnn) Konrad and Aaron (Sandra) Konrad. He had three grandchildern, and step-daughter, Andrea Racine, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his parents, Christopher and Clara. He is also survived by his brother, Frank Oliver; nieces, Shawn (Paul) Kelly and Sandy Maxwell; and great nieces and nephews, all residing in New York.
