Clifford B. Hayes passed away peacefully Feb. 8, 2014, at his home in Cameron Park, Calif., surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 14, 1926, in Oklahoma City, Okla., then lived most of his life in Burlingame, Calif. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Katie; sons, Curtis Hayes and Clay Hayes; and daughters, Toni Montgomery and Laradean Nerli. He was grandfather to seven and great-grandfather to five. He was happiest when surrounded by his family.
A military service will be held at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road in Dixon, Calif., on Friday, March 7, at 11:30 a.m. Family and friends will be received for a celebration of his life immediately after the service.
