Dale J. Carlson passed away peacefully on Oct. 19, 2013, in Placerville. He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Inge. He was the loving father of David (Jennifer) Carlson of Chico and step-father of Mary Maxwell of Cameron Park and Penny Kaiser of Rescue; and devoted grandfather of Nathan and Nicholas Carlson, Eric, Brian and Ashley Kaiser and Mariah Maxwell.
Dale was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for more than 30 years as a contract salesman for Sears out of the Stockton Boulevard store. Moving to Cameron Park in 1985, he worked for ACE Hardware in Cameron Park from 1995 to 1998.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 3, at 1 p.m., at Light of the Hills Lutheran Church, 3100 Rodeo Road in Cameron Park, Calif. (95682). Private inurnment will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Reno, Nev. Contributions in Dale’s name may be made to the Light of the Hills Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home in Placerville.
