June 17, 1964 — May 12, 2014

Darlene Blanc-Harrison, aka “Aunt Dee,” was born in Placerville’s Community Hospital on June 17, 1964, and passed away on May 12, 2014. She will always be remembered and loved in the hearts of those she left behind: her loving husband of 20 years, Robert Blanc; four children, Ron Nastead (29), Johnta Harrison (27), Deon Mohr (24) and Joseph Franklin (21); three grandchildren, Chad, David and Brooklin; 12 brothers and sisters; 19 nieces and nephews; and countless friends.

Darlene touched the lives of everyone she met and was the savior of many children. She will always be missed and loved and will never be forgotten. So here are a few words to remember her:

Daddy’s little angel, wearing mother’s feathered wings.
The perfect sister, full of hopes and dreams.
A devoted wife, proud to wear Bob’s ring.
She was a cherished mother with a beautiful soul,
A special friend with a heart of gold.
And now, our guardian angel to watch over us all.
“Ta tot ta da.”

Services will be held at Regency Baptist Church in Orangevale on May 17, at 10 a.m. Take highway 50 westbound to Hazel Ave, turn right on Hazel to the church on the right side of the road.
