David Viramontes Jr. passed away unexpectedly at his home in Diamond Springs, Calif., on July 18, 2012. Born in Fresno, CA, on April 26, 1957, and raised in Sanger, CA.
David worked as an electrician most of his adult life, and finally, on October 3rd, 1994, achieved his dream of having his Contractor’s License, and created his business, Austin Electric, in Diamond Springs. Projects included the remodel of the Spreckels Sugar Mansion in San Francisco; the Bee Bennett House in Placerville, CA; many Wineries, B & B’s, & custom homes in the surrounding areas. He also provided 24 hour service, and was known in the Senior Community for his “Honest & Reliable Service.”
Before moving to El Dorado County in 1991, he resided in San Mateo, CA, where he met his wife, Michele. Together they enjoyed concerts, boating, bowling, trips to San Francisco & Monterey. David was a devoted fan of the S.F. 49er’s & S.F. Giants, and was thrilled when he could attend a game. He loved to make people laugh, always being the “life” of the party. If you came for a visit, you always left with a gift from him.
