Dean Edward Angell was born in Indianapolis, Ind., on June 4, 1932, and passed away June 15, 2013, at home in Diamond Springs, Calif. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and then went on to a career with McDonnell Douglas for more than 35 years as a production planner. He enjoyed challenging his mind with various projects, including shooting guns with his family and singing to his 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Dean is also survived by his loving wife Marilyn and seven children who dearly loved their father.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 25, at 1:30 p.m., at Calvary Chapel Placerville, 6575 Commerce Way in Diamond Springs, Calif. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dean’s name to Snowline Hospice, 6520 Pleasant Valley Road, Diamond Springs, CA 95619 or online ar snowlinehospice.org.
