Dean Warner Lewin

Dean was born in Placerville, Calif., to Jerry and Mary (Barrett) Lewin and lived in Camino until he was 16. He attended Camino Grammar School and two years of El Dorado High School. In 1972 he moved with his family to Powell, Wyo., where he finished high school and college. He was a superintendent and field manager for the McMurry Concrete Suppliers in Casper, Wyo., and for a number of years was president of the Wyoming State Concrete Association.

Dean is survived by his wife, Denise Lewin of Casper; his daughter, Jennifer Elmer of Evanston, Wyo.; and four grandchildren, Jonathon, Ethan, Dallas and Charlee. From the Placerville area, he leaves behind his mother, Mary Lewin; his sister, Kari Buhman (Terry); four nephews and their families; and his brother, Paul Lewin of Oregon. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lewin; and his nephew, Jeffrey Buhman.

Services will be held at the Elks Lodge in Casper on May 31.
