Donald Walter De Corte, our beloved father, brother and uncle, passed away June 9, 2014, surrounded by his family. He went home to join his parents, Walter and Evelyn and his niece, Cristina. He was a long time Placerville resident. He graduated from Ponderosa High School. He took great pride in serving area restaurants by supplying quality meats for close to 30 years, most recently with Weber Quality Meats of Oakland.
Don is survived and forever missed by his son, Tyler; sisters, Ginger and Lori; brother, Manolo; nephews, David and Joshua; and niece, Julie.
Please join us in celebrating Don’s life on Wednesday, June 18, at 2 p.m., at the Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Road in Placerville, Calif. (95667). Contributions in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org/donate. Friends may leave condolences and sign a guest book at chapelofthepinesfunerals.com.
