Edward L. Sanders passed away Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, from complications from diabetes. Ed was born in the Placerville Sanatorium to George and Dorothy Sanders. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy; sisters, Marilyn, Carolyn and Janice; brother, Mick; and ex-wife and longtime friend, Dee. He was preceded in death by his father, George; sister, LaReta; and his sons, Chuck and Travis. He was raised in Pollock Pines and attended local schools. He worked in the logging and construction industries locally until he retired.
Friends are invited to a memorial service being held Friday, Aug. 30, at 1 p.m., at Chapel of the Pines Mortuary, 2855 Cold Springs Road in Placerville, Calif.
