Frank “Franko” E. Hicks

Aug. 23, 1935 – Jan. 28, 2013

Frank “Franko” E. Hicks is survived by his wife, Darnell; son, Terry Hicks; and sister, Barbie Clough. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Hicks. Franko and Darnell were the founders of Noel Christmas Trees and Pumpkin Patch in Fairplay. Franko was a truck driver for 50 years. He had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest. His passion for fishing was fulfilled in Reedsport, Ore., and Baja, Mexico. A kind and gentle soul, he will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held in Franko’s honor on Friday, March 15, at 1 p.m., at the Green Valley Community Church, 3500 Missouri Flat Road in Placerville, Calif. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Green Valley Community Church.
