Frank O. Burnette Jr. passed away at home from a prolonged illness on Oct. 17, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Wendy, and his daughter, Whitney, both from Shingle Springs; two sons, Adrian and Joszef from Keystone, S.D.; two brothers, Alan from Columbus, Ohio, and Steve from Saco, Maine; one sister, Brenda from Finlay, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. He was born May 4, 1954, in Lima, Ohio, to Frank O. Burnette Sr. and Patricia H. Murray Burnette, both deceased.
Frank graduated from Ottawa-Glandorf High School in 1972, entered the U.S. Army and was part of the 101st Airborne Division. In his adult life he was a Union representative for Lima, Ohio USPS and a machinist for the former Claude Sintz in Deshler, Ohio.
A memorial mass will be held on Oct. 24 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 3109 Sacramento Street in Placerville, Calif., at 11:30 a.m., with a rosary at 11. Online condolences may be posted at chapelofthepinesfunerals.com.
