Fredrick “Rick” Jay Auville, of Somerset, Calif., passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, in his home. He was born 1946 in Oroville, Ohio, to Blaine Auville and Nellie Derr Auville Clow. He was married to the late Judith Anne Tone in 1967.
Rick served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2001. He is survived by son, Luke and Kelly Auville of Grizzly Flat; son, Nathan and Jill Auville of Sacramento; and grandchildren, Thea Auville and Liam Auville. He was preceded in death by Judith Anne Tone.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. A celebration of Rick’s life will be held on at 1 p.m., on Saturday, April 26, at the Three Forks Grange in Somerset.
