Brie Johnson was tragically taken from her family and loved ones on Dec. 4, 2013. She was born at Marshall Hospital to Bruce and Tina, and was a younger sister to Samone. She spent her entire life in the El Dorado County area and was loved by all. She is survived by her father, Bruce; momma, Tina; sister, Samone; and numerous extended family members and loving friends.
Brie was an amazing spirit and caring person who touched all whom she came into contact with. From hiking in Tahoe to swimming in the oceans of Maui, she wanted to be with Mother Nature. She had the “Aloha” spirit and lived life to the fullest. Her passion for sports was apparent in her natural ability. Whether setting on the volleyball court or rowing with the girls on Lake Natoma, she excelled with a smile.
Brie’s desire to help children lead her to major in childhood development at CSUS. To fulfill her dreams her family has started a foundation in her honor: Brie’s Babies. This foundation will primarily benefit the Folsom Hope program. For more information or to contribute to her foundation please visit briesbabies.org.
Brie’s family and friends are at peace knowing she is in heaven with the Lord. If you were blessed by her smile she would love for you to join us in her celebration of life, on Sunday, Dec. 15, at Lakeside Church in Folsom, at 3 p.m.
