Jan. 12, 1921 — March 4, 2013
George Edward Boumann, born Jan. 12, 1921, in Omaha, Neb., peacefully passed away in his Cameron Park home on March 4, 2013. He was preceded in death by Alyce, his loving wife of 58 years. He is survived by their 11 children, eight daughters and three sons. El Dorado County daughters are Maryal Boumann, Marysue (Ty) Russell and Marybeth Boumann. Out of area daughters are Maryann Spahni, Maryclair (Larry) Thomas, Marypat (Walker) Birrell, Marylou Bausch and Maryjane (Bill) Hatch. All three sons from Oregon are George Douglas, Michael Joseph and Mark Vincent.
George was a member of Cameron Park Country Club for many years, where he enjoyed his love of Golf and his treasured golfing friends. Our Dad was the best man we have ever known — forever faithful, loving and kind. He was blessed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A sweet great-grandaughter was born the same morning he died. God is good.
A funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on March 11 at 11 a.m.

Eternal rest grant unto George oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him, my his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen Maryann, I can see you in his eyes. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers. The loss of our parents is difficult and we need time for our hearts to catch-up.

Dear Lord, please wrap Your loving arms around George and give him eternal peace and happiness with You. Please surround his family with the warmth of Your love and consolation and give them Your peace. Your dad has such a great smile--I can see the warmth of his personality in his face. You are blessed to have a dad like him. You are all in my prayers.
