Georgia Williams

May 10, 1935 — April 10, 2013

Georgia Williams, of Placerville, Calif., was born to Francis and James Stone on May 10, 1935, in Rooney, Ky. She graduated from Pleasant High School in Marion County, Ohio, in 1953. She went home to join the Lord on April 10, 2013.

Georgia married Harry Williams on May 17, 1953, in Marion, Ohio, and went on to raise four children. She loved softball, travel, cooking and life. She was the first to offer a hug and to share a good joke. She was always one to give freely and ask for nothing in return. In the last few years she really enjoyed working her many puzzles as she fought to come back from a series of medical problems. She will be missed by all who had an opportunity to share her love of life and family.

Georgia is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harry Williams; her children, Terry, Jim, Chrysandra and Allison; grandchildren, Jeff, Melissa, Courtney, Amanda, Brian, Jason and Brandy; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Dominic, Elizabeth, Matthew and Tylor; and siblings, Harold, Ott, Bill, Jack, Bob and Doris.

Everyone is welcome to join us in a celebration of Georgia’s life at 10 a.m., on Saturday, April 20, at Park Community Church, 3901 Wild Chaparral Drive in Shingle Springs, Calif.
