Gertrude “Trudy” Thomas of Rescue, Calif., was born May 26, 1929, in Chicago, Ill., and died Sept. 17, 2013. She is survived by her daughters, Kathie Scott and Carol Burdon; and sons, John and Bruce Thomas. She had five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She loved music and was a concert pianist, composer, church organist and artist. She will be missed.
Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 1 p.m., at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, 1001 Olson Lane in El Dorado Hills. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation.
