Grace was born in Detroit, MI., on April 27, 1930, and passed away peacefully on Feb. 7, 2011. Becker of Placerville, Calif.; daughter, Michelle Rynn of Surprise, Ariz.; son, Brain Pearson of Sacramento, Calif.; stepchildren, Bruce Becker of seattle, Wash., and Terri Jorgensen of Salyer, Calif., and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Thomas Thrasher of Surprise, Ariz., and Robert Thrasher of Carmichael, Calif.
Over the years, Grace was employed by the State of California, Aerojet General Corporation and El Dorado County Sheriff’s office in a variety of administrative positions. Her passions were genealogy research, completing an extensive study for her family during her retirement years and trips to Fort Bragg, Calif., with her beloved husband of 34 years.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at the Sutter Cemetery, 7200 Butte Avenue in Sutter, Calif. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
