Gregg Patrick Swars of Cameron Park, Calif., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, with his family by his side, at the age of 46. He was born in Sacramento and graduated from Oak Ridge High School, UCLA and Lincoln Law School of Sacramento. He practiced law, primarily in El Dorado County, from 2003 until his death.
Gregg was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia; sister, Lynne; and niece, Alecia. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Bill and Chris Swars of Citrus Heights; his brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Kara Lynne Swars of Shingle Springs; step-brother, Dylan Anderson and family; nephew, Ryan; nieces, Breanna and Makenna; great-nephews, Gabriel and Alex; and the Zak family.
A memorial mass celebrating his life will be held at St. Patrick Church in Placerville on Oct. 12, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Westwood Hills Memorial Park.
