Aug. 14, 1975 – June 15, 2012
Gwenn Michelle Taylor was born Aug. 14, 1975, in Chicago Heights, Ill., to William and Sandra Taylor. She passed away unexpectedly June 15, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Gwenn was a 1994 graduate of Independence High School in Placerville and was a speaker at the commencement. She had a flare for acting and art. She liked to hang out with her friends most of all. When she was younger she played soccer and was into gymnastics but you would usually find her on a pair of roller skates. Gwenn had such a good heart; she would give you anything she had, helped anyone who asked and she had a love for animals. She moved back to Illinois after high school and then to Las Vegas in 2002. Gwenn moved around a lot, including several different places in Illinois, Iowa and Northern and Southern California. She always made lots of friends where ever she went and will be missed by many. We will all miss her free spirit, beautiful smile and contagious laugh. Gwenn left this earth before she could realize her dreams and now is at peace in the hands of the Lord.
Gwenn is succeeded by her four children, Kyland, Logan, Hailey and Maddox; her father, Bill, and his wife, Peggy, of Camino, Calif.; her mother, Sandra Green, of Austin, Texas; her brother, Scott, and his wife, Heather, of Oak Forest, Ill.; aunts and uncles, Bonnie and Bruce Gossmann of Crete, Ill., Gayle and Pat Lowe of Oak Forest, Ill., and Gwenn and Howard Leschke of McHenry, Ill.; cousins, Courtney, Kim, Jenny, and Kelly, along with their extended families; and a niece, Olivia.
A memorial service was held for her in Las Vegas on Wednesday, June 20. Those wishing to leave thoughts or condolences may do so by using the funeral home’s Website, www.hitesfh.com.
