H. Grant Dunlop, long time resident of Pollock Pines passed away at 90 years of age on Nov. 17, 2010. He was born Sept. 29, 1920. Grant was an active member of the local SIRS and Sierra Club chapters. A veteran of WWII, he served in the 11th Airborne Division as a paratrooper in the South Pacific. Grant was born to Howard and Alice Dunlop of Grand Forks, ND. He was preceded in death by his wife LaVerna and son Fred. He is survived by his sister Harriet Bader, two daughters Janice Hanna and Carol Dunlop, three step children Sharon Daniel, Dan and John Roberts , one niece, two nephews, eight grand children and thirteen great-grand children. Services will be held at Green Valley Mortuary in Cameron Park on November 22, 2010 at 11 am.
