Harold L. Hennessey of Camino entered glory with his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, on March 16, 2013, after a short illness. He was 71 years old. He was born June 7, 1941, in Massillon, Ohio, and moved to California June 7, 1969. Harold was the eldest of three sons. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary; stepfather, John Forgach; his father, Earl Hennessey; and his two brothers, Dan and Mike. He is survived by his three children, Cheryl of Camino, Jon of Texas and Heidi of Vacaville; and two grandsons, Jason and Cody of Texas.
Harold was the manager of Auction City in Sacramento for 30 years and owned many businesses during this time. He loved riding his Harley and traveled all over California camping. He also enjoyed raising small livestock on his property and was an avid collector of antiques. He was a true Irishman and had an infectious sense of humor. He always made people laugh, even up to his last days. He is greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at Green Valley Community Church in Placerville on Friday, May 17, at 1 p.m., with a reception to follow.
