April 17, 1919 — July 31, 2013

Irene G. Sanford (McCartney) passed away in Placerville on July 31, 2013. She is survived by her two sons, Norman and Fred; and daughters-in-law, Kathy, Stacey and Margie. She has four grandchildren, Samantha, Michael, Ben and Chris; and two great-grandchildren, Janette and Xander.

One occupation Irene was always proud of is serving as one of the Rosie the Riveters, building airplanes during World War II.
