Aug. 19, 1945 — Feb. 10, 2013
Janette C. Price Olsen, age 68, passed away peacefully on Feb. 10, 2013, at her home in Pleasant Valley, Calif., surrounded by her loved ones. Jan attended the Placerville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Price, Anette B. and step-father, Robert Payton of Oakland, Calif. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, David; and three sons, Micheal and wife Susan of Andersonville, Tenn., Dennis of Knoxville, Tenn., and Scott of Pleasant Valley. She was blessed to have five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as sister-in-law, Susan Olsen Nunan and husband, John of Sacramento, Calif.; brother-in-law, Lynn; brother-in-law, Chris and wife, Joan S. of Folsom, Calif.; and many “special” nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Cindy Piacentini and to the staff at Placerville Hospice as caregivers for Jan. A celebration of her life was held at an earlier date with close friends and family.
