Jeanette Ann Faria, resident of Placerville,was born Aug. 11, 1941, and passed away Feb. 20, 2012, in Placerville, Calif. She was born in Iowa and moved to Alameda when she was a teenager. She graduated from Alameda High School and began working for the County of Alameda. While with the County she worked for the Social Services department. Staying with public work, she moved over to the Alameda Municipal Court as a court clerk mainly with the traffic division.
Jeanette retired and moved to Placerville in 1998. She enjoyed being with family, gardening, reading and cooking her Mississippi Mud Brownies for her children and grandchildren.
She leaves behind her mother, Darlene; her partner, Jim; her children, David and Bridget; her grandchildren, Debbie, Derick, Jordan and Ryan; her sisters, Linda, Darthula, Jackie and Kathryn; and many nieces and nephews. A private family memorial was held.
