John Irvin Crawford, of Ripon, was injured in a fall that left him in a coma for the last 47 days of his life and was surrounded by his loving friends and family when he passed away just five days before his 50th birthday.
John was born in Placerville to Curtis and Gwendolyn Crawford and he now joins his father and two brothers, Stephen and Douglas, in Heaven. He leaves behind his mother in Cameron Park; his brother, Alan of El Dorado; and his sister, Laura of Tuxedo, N.Y. John is also survived by his two sons, Jeremy Crawford of Sacramento and Joshua Crawford of Livermore; three grandchildren; his dear friend, Jo Ellen Xavier; and many loving friends, relatives and coworkers.
In honor of John’s military service interment will take place at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
