Joseph Omer Earnshaw, 76, has gone on to be with his gracious heavenly father. After a long and courageous battle with all the challenges diabetes brought to his life, Joe faced his final match and bowed out of this world in just the way he wished; peacefully and at his home.
Joe was a faithful husband for 56 years to his dear wife, Janice Earnshaw; devoted father to Cheryl Earnshaw (Steph), Diane Connolly and Joe Earnshaw Jr.(Celeste); loving grandfather of William Connolly, Kyle Connolly, Joe Earnshaw III and Kaleigh Earnshaw; brother of Merritt Earnshaw, David Earnshaw and Mary Click; and nephew of Leah Gesek, Jean Manning and Russell Will. He was preceded in death by his mother, Esther Lorene Stocking; his father, Merritt (Spike) Winn Earnshaw; and his sister, Barbara Brouillette.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Thursday, March 21, at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road in Dixon, Calif. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 22, at 11 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3431 Hacienda Drive in Cameron Park, Calif.
