Kenneth Foley

May 18,1922 — May 10, 2014

Kenneth Bernard Foley was born in Elk River, Minn., on May 18, 1922. He passed away on May 10, 2014, in Placerville, Calif. He was a World War II veteran in the Navy. He was a retired teacher (1949 to 1985). He was active in L & A, as a California State Teacher’s Council representative. He was a retired UFCW employee.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Martha; daughter, Mary; and brother, Dr. Robert Foley. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Foley; mother, Inez; sister, Lois; and brothers, Lester and Vernon.

A rosary, memorial mass and reception will be held at St. Patrick Church in Placerville on May 23, at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be at the National Veterans Cemetery, Fort Snelling, in Minnesota. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Upper Room, c/o St. Patrick Church, 3109 Sacramento Street, Placerville, CA 95667.
