Aug. 2, 1944 — May 19, 2014
Kenneth L. Stuefloten was born in Santa Barbara, Calif. After 30 years in telecommunications, he retired with his wife, Viki, to Pollock Pines in El Dorado County. He worked with Viki selling real estate until he contracted Miller Fisher Syndrome of Guillian Barre in 2007. He fought that gallantly until hit by a pulmonary embolism in May. He loved sports and played softball, soccer, golf and bowling.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, Viki Moore; brother, Mark D. Stuefloten, his wife, Teresa Stuefloten; daughters, Sharon Brasher, Kim Ballard and Kenna Stuefloten; and the grandchildren he cherished: Seth, Brett, Melayna, Cheyenne, Reece and Dylan. He had a great sense of humor and will be missed by many.
A service will be held Tuesday, June 24, at 1 p.m., at New Hope Fellowship Church, 3838 Ponderosa Road in Shingle Springs, Calif. Interment will be held June 25 at 11 a.m., at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to GBS/CIDP Foundation International.
