Aug. 18, 1925 — Dec. 3, 2012
Born in Long Beach, Calif., LaMarr was the eldest of five children. Her parents were Carlos “Dave” and Mildred “Millie” Davidson. the family moved to Placerville in the late years of World War II. Here she met the lifelong love of her life, Bill Rupley. They were married June 11, 1945. They had four children: Michael (Carolyn), Jon (Charlene), Wendy (Warren Wynant) and Willie (Susie).
LaMarr counted every day as still being married to Bill, even though he preceded her in death by nine years. She is survived by eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. LaMarr was totally dedicated to her family. She would participate in all their activities, whether it was little league, scouts, bowling, swimming or tennis. She loved children and worked at Pinewood School as a teacher’s aid. She spent her last years living in the Delta Area near her daughter Wendy.
