Oct. 22, 1943 — Oct. 8, 2012
Leland Edward Bonbright was called to be with his Lord on Oct. 8, 2012. He was born Oct. 22, 1943, in San Francisco, Calif., and raised there. He was a 29-year Air Force veteran. Important things in his life were God, family (including cats) and the Air Force. He enjoyed working as a mechanic on airplanes and cars. He was always ready to help others, but shy to ask for help.
Leland is survived by his wife, Anita Bonbright of Cameron Park, Calif.; daughter, Michelle (Bonbright) Gabbard; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Donations may be made to Snowline Hospice, 6520 Pleasant Valley Road, Diamond Springs, CA 95619, or Animal Outreach, P.O. Box 480, Diamond Springs, CA 95619.
A celebration of life will be held at the Church of the Foothills, 2380 Merrychase Drive in Cameron Park, on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 3 p.m.
