Linda Ellen Magee, born Feb. 26, 1951, in St. Louis, Mo., died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Shingle Springs on Aug. 28, 2012. Her loving husband of 12 years, Terry Magee, was by her side.
Linda was a classically trained ballet dancer who moved in 1965 to the Glendale area of California, where she met her first husband and eventually raised four children. She met Terry more than 20 years ago and the two became fast friends and constant companions. They moved to Pollock Pines in 1994 upon Terry’s retirement. Linda later accepted the position of quality-control manager for Endwaves Corporation of Diamond Springs.
In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her three sons, John Czifra of Studio City, Stephen Czifra of Albany and Preston Czifra of Studio City; and her daughter, Joy Czifra of Eagle Rock. She is also survived by four step-children; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A viewing will be held at 1 p.m., and funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, at Green Valley Mortuary and Cemetery in Rescue, Calif.
