Linda Crespin

Oct. 10, 1949 — April 16, 2013

Linda Joye Crespin passed away peacefully on April 16, 2013, with family by her side. She was born on Oct. 10, 1949, in Yakima, Wash. She was the youngest of four children born to Eunice and Hubert Bellefeuille.

Linda’s parents moved to the Bay Area in 1950, where she was raised. In 1967 while attending Hayward Beauty School she met the love of life, Joseph Crespin, whom she later married on June 30, 1968. Joe and Linda moved to Placerville in 1977 to raise their children and be closer to God’s country. She was a preschool teacher for 12 years and received numerous awards and recognitions for her work in the community. She was devoted mother to her children, giving them her endless support, faith, love and most of all, lasting memories.

Linda loved her grandbabies and committed her life to making wonderful memories with them. She was a permanent fixture at their sporting events and school activities and always made it known to everyone that those were her babies and how very proud she was of them. She loved her grandbabies more than the stars in the sky.

She was a woman of faith and brought happiness to all she met. She had a love for outdoors, cooking, antiquing and spending time with her family. She was a faithful friend, wonderful and loving mother, beloved grandmother and most of all, a devoted and cherished wife.

Linda is survived by the love of her life for more than 44 years, Joseph Crespin; her children, Star (Dave) Walker, Joseph Crespin, Amber (Bryan) Albertson, Katie Crespin and Robert Crespin; and her five grandchildren, David (11), Christopher (10), Jarin (8), Nicklaus (5), and Maylee Kai (9 months). She also leaves behind her two brothers, Richard (Ester) Bellefeuille and Michael (Lorena) Bellefeuille; and many nieces and nephews. She joins her parents, Eunice and Hubert Bellefeuille; and sister, Kay Gartner in Heaven.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 27, at her daughter’s home in Placerville.

Linda Crespin---I met her well over 2 decades ago through our husbands friendship. She and Joe brought their growing family to our church and we became great friends and also shared many mutual friends. We'd lost close touch many years ago but I would still run into her occasionally at the park with our grandkids and we would catch up. The smile in this great picture says it all. She had a love for God and an exuberance for life that spilled over into all of our lives. I will never forget her. Joe and family--I am so sorry for your loss. Linda--till we meet again--- your old friend, Priscilla
